Beton is an attempt to remember my unbiased perspective from back then and describes a first approach to GDR prefabricated housing estates. I test the influence that GDR prefabricated architecture has on my dance practice and explore the playgrounds that „die Platte“ can offer me today. Where are the gaps and hiding places? Which colors dominate? How can I enter into a dance dialogue with concrete?
Brache&Beton is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media in the program NEUSTART KULTUR, aid program DIS-TANZEN of the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland.
